WEEK THIRTY TWO:

Monday, March 22
Mmm...

Tuesday, March 23
This didn't turn out quite like I had imagined, but it was a decent first attempt. I'm not afraid to admit that I need to sharpen my Photoshop skills a bit. I've spent so many years trying to take photographs that didn't need to be digitally altered, that I've neglected the possibility that some images can be taken with photo manipulation in mind.

Wednesday, March 24
I love this. It cracks me up and I think it's some pretty genius vandalism. Almost as good as the time someone added an "F," to every place in the art building that said: "Art Department." I only hope my future BFA degree will be worth more than this person believes it to be worth.

Thursday, March 25
I swear the printmaking studio is a magical place. I feel more artistically inspired there than anywhere else. I see things differently. I think things differently. It's awesome.
This image is beautiful in its simplicity and at the same time, it somehow seems very complex. The best part, is all it is is the paper covering the table the prints are inked on. It's just ink mess left behind from making a print, but really, it could be a print of its own.

Friday, March 26
Rollerskating. It has been soo long since Hallie and I slipped on a pair of skates and hit the rink. Next time I hope it doesn't take as long for us to do it again.

Saturday, March 27
Lately I feel like I've been "off," with my daily photo. I've had a lot going on and unfortunately, my daily photo has taken a backseat, but I'm trying to do better...really.

Sunday, March 28
Patterns and perspective.

WEEK THIRTY ONE:

Monday, March 15
Doesn't this light post look like it's growing hair?

Tuesday, March 16
Swim class.
Cambria LOVES swimming and always has. In her class right now she is the only kid who will go under water without freaking out. We're oh so proud of her.

Wednesday, March 17
Truck (green for St. Patty's Day).

Thursday, March 18

Friday, March 19
Wing night at the Wilkins! Some wings, some Freaks and Geeks. What could be better?

Saturday, March 20
I've been watching lately for patters/designs and one of my major goals with this (365) project is to look for photographs in my everyday life, in things that are commonly around me. This is from my laptop case.

Sunday, March 21
More pattern.

WEEK THIRTY:

Monday, March 8
It is finally starting to look like winter's on it's last foot here in Logan.

Tuesday, March 9
Almost all of my day on Tuesday and into the night, was spent in the print studio (and most of my week for that matter). This is really all my brain had power to conceive after my numerous printing hours.

Wednesday, March 10
Due to my schedule restraints, it feels like my outside shots are all confined to nighttime lately.

Thursday, March 11
Baking with mom.

Friday, March 12
We journeyed to St. George for the weekend to get away from the cold and have a break. We arrived on Friday afternoon and enjoyed what little sunshine was left of the day before the storm came and ruined our warm weather.
St. George LDS Temple. Huge.

Saturday, March 13
See those big, dark, ominous clouds in the back? Those attacked us about an hour or so after this shot was taken.
Love this hat. This belonged to Hallie's co-worker, Chelsea's boyfriend, Jared. Classic.
On a side note, I didn't take my D300 on the trip, so I was stuck without much manual control on my Nikon Coolpix camera, which was very frustrating and exhibited in the focus points on this image.

Sunday, March 14
Ah, In & Out. So good. Nothing like a good meal to send us home the right way.

WEEK TWENTY NINE:

Monday, March 2
That's right folks, she WANTS YOU!

Tuesday, March 2
I love printmaking. It is my new artistic love. But I hate that I can never get my hands fully clean. And in spite of all the black in the corners on my nails, this image shows my hand much cleaner than usual after a day and night of printing.

Wednesday, March 3
Mmm...my wife makes the best chicken tortilla soup known to mankind. Really. It is amazing.

Thursday, March 4
After the week I had with our condo flooding, haggling with insurance companies and other fun things, when I saw this up on campus, I wanted to push it and ask for some help of my own.

Friday, March 5
Man, we've been hitting the jackpot lately with fortune cookies! Now I am just wondering when these darn fortunes are going happen.

Saturday, March 6
A few weeks ago around seven or eight at night, I was driving through a neighborhood and saw some dudes in huge winter coats standing in front of a grill and bbq-ing. It was pretty awesome. So on Saturday, I did a little winter bbq-ing of my own.

Sunday, March 7
This is a small glimpse into what it looks like at our home after dinner and before bath and bed.

WEEK TWENTY EIGHT:

Monday, February 22
The "Toaster."

Tuesday, February 23
Two paths.

Wednesday, February 24
The next print. Sketching it out.

Thursday, February 25
Lately, this one begs to be wrapped up tight in blankets and then she just sits there and smiles and giggles.

Friday, February 26
"Oooohhh!" That's what this sounds like.

Saturday, February 27
As lame as it sounds, it warms my heart every time I look at our shoe tray and see Cambria's little shoes next to ours. It puts a smile on my face.

Sunday, February 28
Sushi!
Our friend Mike, a sushi artist, if you will, created a 1,000 piece sushi masterpiece and it was amazing. I didn't keep track of how much I had, but it was more than I've ever had in one sitting before that's for sure. Thanks Mike. I can't wait for next time.
