WEEK TWENTY SEVEN:

Monday, February 15
You notice funny things after spending enough time in places like the print studio where there is large, expensive equipment.
This warning sticker made me laugh. Apparently it's not a good idea to run your arm through the press.

Tuesday, February 16
Ever since fall took away the lush green vines on the side of the University Inn, I've been eyeing this shot. I love the lines and the patterns and shapes they create. I plan to get another shot of this when they are green again.

Wednesday, February 17
I caught this on the fly as I was being chased down the hallway. I held the camera out to my side, held the button until it was focused (on anything) and snapped it. I love the spontaneity of it. It really captured the excitement of the moment. The little one on her rampage. Is it too much to ask to have her stay small forever?

Thursday, February 18
A semi-detailed shot of an old door (as if you couldn't figure that out for yourself, right?

Friday, February 19
Any who live in Logan have probably noticed this worn down house and/or office at the intersection of by where the old Macey's used to be. I love it, even if it is an eyesore. The windows are painted a vibrant blue and I think it looks fantastic. But only through a camera lens I suppose.

Saturday, February 20
I can't believe that I haven't gotten this shot until now to be honest with you. I drive by the old rink several times a week and wish it was still serving Logan's finest rollerskaters, but alas, it is not. Hallie and I dream about buying it and reopening it as a rink/concert venue. It's fun to dream.

Sunday, February 21
Another shot of the main sign of the old Logan rink. It was a beautiful place to skate indeed.
RIP.

WEEK TWENTY SIX:

Monday, February 8
Finally! A fortune that I could use! I hope by "happy events," it is referring to money!

Tuesday, February 9
A reminder of warmer times. Hello warm spring and summer days-I hope to see you again soon.

Wednesday, February 10
A lone ice sickle cluster.

Thursday, February 11
My current printmaking project, Lighter Than Air.

Friday, February 12
While serving a mission in Kentucky, I fell in love with this restaurant and their amazing wings and epic selection of sauces for them. I was sad to come back to a home where I couldn't partake of these blessed wings anymore. However, whenever I go to Vegas or Denver, I'm able to quench my taste buds. The last few years they've done all-you-can-eat wings for lunch for $9.99–until this last Monday that is. When I tried to order my wondrous all-you-can-eat lunch, I was told this heinous news. Needless to say, it didn't make my day. I was rather perturbed. And still am.

Saturday, February 13
I was able to shoot my cousin Beth's wedding in Denver, CO on Saturday. Here is a shot of the temple her and her husband were married in. I LOVE the light, thin clouds and the beautiful blue sky in this shot.

Sunday, February 14
Happy Valentine's Day!

WEEK TWENTY FIVE:

Monday, February 1
A glorious start to the month of February! One of the first blue-skied days in weeks! It was such a relief to look up and see a color besides gray.

Tuesday, February 2
A section of a garage right behind where I wait for the bus to campus.

Wednesday, February 3
Cambria is a pretty big fan of the double nose pick. What else can I say? For now, it cracks me up.

Thursday, February 4
A hazy day with spots of blue sky throughout the day. I felt the haze was best portrayed with this black and white, grainy shot.

Friday, February 5
I took this shot for a project I'm going to be working on in my typography class. Inspired by Rancid's "Let the Dominoes Fall."

Saturday, February 6
Not much of an exciting day. The weather was gloomy as it has been except for a few days out of the last several weeks. But I tried to make the most out of it all with this wet, cold picture.

Sunday, February 7
Super Bowl Sunday wasn't so sweet this year. Despite plans to go to some friends' house and eat lots of awesome food, have some good company and root for a team I don't really care about, we stayed home with our little one who was sick. I guess that's what being a parent is all about, right? In the end, I really enjoyed being able to spend an entire day together, as a family, without any interruptions.

And thank the heavens above the sun was shining and that there was blue sky!
