WEEK FIFTY TWO:

Monday, August 9

This little bug loves to hide under the covers. It's a bed bug that I don't mind if it gets me though.

Tuesday, August 10
I've become quite used to drawings all over the front and backyard of our home. The other day as I was watching the youngster run wild, I was examining all the chalk drawings on the ground and they made me laugh because they reminded me of some sort of cave art.

Wednesday, August 11
Lines, patterns and shadows.

Thursday, August 12
The Cache County Fair.
A beautiful day at the fair.

Friday, August 13
Years ago, my friends and I worked a sales job over a summer in NV. We all picked up the same refill mug while we were out. Sadly, mine broke recently. No big deal? Wrong. First off, it was sentimental, and next, it was, well, a refill mug.

Saturday, August 14
Tyler came up for a Logan visit this last weekend and just tuckered himself out. I guess this is the byproduct of a few hours sleep and an 11-mile run. Sorry for snapping the pic Ty, but I couldn't resist.
"Uncle," Tyler is also Cambria's favorite new person. We think she may have her first crush. All we heard all weekend out of her mouth was, "Tyyywer?"

Sunday, August 15
The last day.
About a half hour after I snapped this shot, there was an onslaught of hummingbirds swarming this feeder. I think we counted somewhere around seven or eight. It was amazing. I've never seen anything like it. But alas, this shot is what I wanted to stick with. I love the way the sunlight shines through the thin wing of the hummingbird and makes it almost translucent.
